CocoNana Chia Protein Bowl

Introduction

Crazy good! This makes for some chewy, thick textured hot cereal. Add more almond milk or some water if you like it thinner. Dairy milk would add more protein. Crazy good! Ingredients

    60 g fresh banana, sliced, about 1/2 banana
    10 g chia seeds, about 1 T.
    10 g oat bran
    7 g unsweetened shredded coconut, about 1 T.
    1/3 c. almond breeze, unsweetened original
    80 g Kemps 1% Cottage Cheese

    Truvia or stevia to taste or
    NuNaturals Cocoa Bean Extract

Tips

The amount of sweetener needed will vary with the ripeness of the bananas.


Directions

Microwave banana slices on high for one minute. This brings out its flavor and sweetness. Stir in the chia, oat bran, and coconut, mashing bananas as you go if they are still firm. Stir in almond breeze. Microwave for 1-2 minutes. Stir in cottage cheese and microwave about 2 minutes until it is nearly all melted. Stir in sweetener to taste and let cool for a few minutes before eating.
