Kashi "Cleansing" soup

Introduction

Can be made vegetarian by substituting in vegetable broth...8 cups worth. Can be made vegetarian by substituting in vegetable broth...8 cups worth.

Ingredients

    Carrots - 2
    celery - 2
    small onion
    garlic cloves - 4 - dice all vegetables
    1 cup dried spilt peas
    1 cup dried lentils
    1 cup Kashi 7-Grain Pilaf (one packet from a box with 3 in it)
    12 cups water
    2 large tablespoons of Better than Boullion beef base
    1 tsp. paprika
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions

add all ingredients to slow cooker...put on LOW for 9 hours. Mix occassionally
