Favorite Mac and Cheese

Introduction

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 3/4 packages (8 oz) Elbow macaroni
    2 (8 oz) packages shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    2 (12 oz) containers 1 % cottage cheese
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    3/4 cup bread crumbs
    1/4 cup melted butter or margarine

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add pasta, and cook until done; drain.
In 9x13 inch baking dish, stir together macaroni, shredded cheddar, cottage cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. In a small bowl, mix together bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle topping over macaroni mixture.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until to is golden.
