1 lb. lean ground beef
2 1/2 c. tomato juice
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. minute rice.
2 t. sugar
1/4 t. marjoram
Combine beef, rice, 1/2 c. tomatoe juice, egg, marjoram and pepper. Make into 18 meatballs.
Add sugar to remaining tomato juice. mix well.
Put meatballs in a skillet. Pour juice mixture over the meatballs. Cook for 20-25 minutes, occasionally spooning more juice over the meatballs.
