Higher Protein Spaghetti sauce

Introduction

Not a recipe for homemade spaghetti sauce, rather an idea to raise the protein in pre-made sauces. I like it because my kids don't notice I changed the sauce, but they a good vegan source of protein and fiber. Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    7 cups of your favorite marinara sauce
    1 can of chickpeas

Directions

Put the chickpeas and 1 cup of sauce in food processor. Process until smooth.
Combine the processed chickpea mixture with the other 6 cups of sauce in a pan, heat and serve.

Serving Size: Makes 16 1/2 cup servings.
