Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 Tbsp ground flax meal
    3 Tbsp warm water
    2 cups cooked black beans, drained
    1 cup Quick oatmeal
    1 small to medium onion
    3/4 cup frozen sweet corn
    1/3 cup nutritional yeast (not brewers yeast)
    1/2 Tbsp ground cumin
    3/4 Tbsp dried cilantro
    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1/4 Tbsp dried oregano
    1/2 Tbsp Onion Powder
    1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix Ground Flax with 3 Tbsp warm water and set aside.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Chop the onion

Put beans in food processor and process until mashed, or mash with fork if you desire.

Mix mashed beans, oatmeal, chopped onion, nutritional yeast, and all spices, mix well with hands, add flax/water mixture and continue mixing until well combined.

Form into six equally sized balls on the parchment paper, press the balls flat into patty shapes.

Bake in oven at 350 for 30-40 minutes, turning halfway through.

Serve on a bun with Avocado, tomato, guacamole, peppers, salsa, or other condiments of your liking.
