Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

    1 med onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 can Italian stewed diced tomatoes, drained
    2.5 cups green beans
    4 cups prepared mashed potatoes
    1 egg, beaten

Directions

Preheat over to 350

Brown onion, garlic, and beef. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Drain meat and place in a 2 quart casserole dish. Pour tomatoes over meat, top with green beans. Mount potatoes on top and brush with eggl

Bake for 30 minutes at 350

Broil for 1 minute to brown top
