Megan's Chocolate-Peanut Butter Post-workout Protein Bars

Submitted by: YASMINDURAN

Introduction

I wanted to make protein bars for after workouts since spending $2-3 after each workout on a bar can get a bit expensive. This isn't elaborate, but it gets the job done! :-) I wanted to make protein bars for after workouts since spending $2-3 after each workout on a bar can get a bit expensive. Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

1 c. whole oats (not quick cook)
    1/3 c. natural peanut butter
    1 c. powdered milk
6 scoops vanilla protein powder (I use Body Fortress, found at walmart. $14.98 a container)
    2 T. unsweetened baking chocolate
3/4 c. water (or more as needed to ease mixing)

Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Spread into a 9x9" baking pan sprayed with nonstick spray. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours or in freezer for 1 hour. Cut into 10 equal pieces, wrap in foil, & store in refrigerator.

Serving Size: Makes 10 protein bars.
