Ingredients

    5 skinless chicken thighs
    1/4 cup ff milk
    1 lemon
    2 egg whites
    2 tsp garlic powder
    2 tsp black pepper
    1 1/2 crushed corn flakes
    2 tsp hot sauce

Tips

This was created by Paula Deen's son to try and imitate her fried chicken.


Directions

Clean chicken thighs and take off any fat and put into a baggie. Mix the milk and lemon, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp pepper and hot sauce. Pour over the chicken in the baggie and put in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Mix the corn flake crumbs with the remaining garlic powder and pepper. Put cast iron skillet big enough for the chicken on med high heat and spray with cookin spray. Put chicken in corn flakes, pressing to make sure that the flakes stick to the chicken. Put in pan, then put pan with chicken in 375 degree over for 45-60 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165 degrees.
