Introduction

Slow cooker pasta dish with meatballs; a bit on the spicy side. Slow cooker pasta dish with meatballs; a bit on the spicy side.
Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

    Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano, 7 serving (2 cans, thoroughly drained)
    Lea & Perrin's, Worcestershire Sauce, 1 tsp
    3 Meatball Salute - Italian Style Turkey Meatballs, 7 serving (total of 21 meatballs)
    Fred Meyer Thick & Chunky Salsa - Medium (1 srv = 2 tbsp), 8 serving (1 cup)
    Ragu Old World Style Traditional Spaghetti Sauce, 680.4 gram(s) (1 jar)
    Ortega Diced Green Chiles, 7 oz (1 can)
    Barilla Whole Grain Rotini, 7 serving (1 box)
    Tomato Soup, 1 can (10.75 oz)

Tips

*If desired, add some dried oregano flakes and dried red pepper flakes. It all depends on the level of spicy hotness you want to convey in your dinner.


Directions

Spray pot with non-stick cooking spray.
Place meatballs on bottom of pot.
Thoroughly drain tomatoes (I used a wire mesh sieve) and pour over top of the meatballs.
Add the diced chilies.
*If desired, add some dried oregano flakes and dried red pepper flakes.
Add salsa.
Add Worcestershire sauce.
Cover and set on Low.
About 30 minutes (or so) prior to serving:
Add pasta.
Add Ragu sauce.
Add tomato soup.
Cover again and continue to cook, stirring every now & again.
