Chicken Chorizo Tacos

Introduction

These are not real healthy tacos, but they are VERY TASTY!!! I only make them on special occasions and there are never any left overs!! These are not real healthy tacos, but they are VERY TASTY!!! I only make them on special occasions and there are never any left overs!!
Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    Chicken Breast, 3 breasts, bone and skin removed
    Tia Rosa Yellow Corn Tortilla, 20 oz (2 tortillas), 7 serving
    *Corn Oil, .5 cup
    *El Popular authentic chorizo, 12 oz

Directions

Cook (or crockpot until meat shreds) chicken breast until very tender - set aside.

Fry corn tortillas in a pan creating a taco shell. Turn upside down on a paper towl to let excess oil drip off.

In a large pan, combine chorizo & chicken until well mixed (IMPORTANT: cook chorizo first and then add chicken).

Top with whatever you'd like - lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, onions, etc. Toppings are not included in nutrition info.

Serving Size: makes 14 tacos
