Turkey Chili

Introduction

Adapted from "YOU on a diet!" Adapted from "YOU on a diet!"
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 tbsp Olive Oil
    1 lb Ground Turkey
    1/2 chopped Onion
    2 cloves minced Garlic
    1 can Crushed Tomatoes
    1 can drained Kidney Beans
    1/2 tsp Chili Powder
    Pinch Cayenne Pepper
    1 tsp Maple Syrup
    1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
    1/2 tsp Tumeric or Paprika

Directions

Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add turkey, onion, and garlic. Cook until done. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 25-30 minutes. Makes about 5-6 servings.

NOTE: When I first made this, the texture of the turkey while browning was loose and pasty - not what I was used to with ground beef. But as it cooked, it firmed up - no worries.
