Introduction

Part of a 2 day cleanse recommended by Dr. Oz. High in calories and carbs. I am trying this to see how it affects my blood sugars as I am diabetic... and want to test it before offering it to guests! Ingredients

    1 cup water
    1/2 cup quinoa
    1 pinch nutmeg
    1 tsp. grated ginger
    1/3 cup chopped prunes
    1/4 cup rice milk


Directions

Bring water, quinoa, nutmeg and ginger to boil in a small pot. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for ten minutes. Stir in prunes and rice milk. Cover and cook another 5 minutes.
