Three Bean Soup

Introduction

A super yummy quick and easy to make soup the whole family will enjoy! A super yummy quick and easy to make soup the whole family will enjoy!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    Beans, black, 1 cup
    Beans, white, 1 cup
    Beans, red kidney, 1 cup
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 4 clove
    Olive Oil, 3 tbsp
    Uncle Ben's Instant Whole Grain Brown Rice, 1 cup
    Celery, raw, .5 cup, diced
    Mrs. Dash (R) Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend, 0.25 tsp
    Salt, 1 tbsp
    Water, tap, 4 cup (8 fl oz)

Tips

[Note: If you've prepared brown rice on the side, that should work fine, too; just be sure not to overcook the rice!]


Directions

1. Heat oil in pot and add onions, garlic and celery. Cook until soft. Add spices.
2. Add Uncle Ben's Brown Rice mix (do not heat!)
3. Rinse beans in colander and add to the pot until warmed up.
4. Slowly add the water.
5. Bring to boil then drop to Med/Low Temp for roughly 20 minutes.
6. SOUPS ON!
