This was really good. I think next time I'll add some sliced fresh mushrooms and maybe only put in about 1/2 the onion soup mix. - 2/6/10

I love this recipe. You could also substitute cream of chicken instead of the mushroom soup. Also some times I put a bit of low fat sour cream just before serving especially if I am using noodles. Yummy! - 1/22/09

Delicious! It begs some kind of accompaniment (rice or noodles) but I ate it alone since I'm doing low carb. Anyone have thoughts for a low carb accompaniment that would be similar to rice? - 7/8/11

I absolutely loved this recipe. I cooked egg noodles separately and then added them (broke up the chicken breasts) and it was just so darn good. Next time I think I'll even use 1/2 the chicken. Thanks for the great recipe. - 6/4/08

Very good, and super easy. I used mushroom-onion soup mix, really good flavor and I added mushrooms. The sauce was a watery so I added some cornstarch; next time I'll probably cut the water. But all-in-all it's excellent!

It was extremelly bland for me. I needed to add lots of spices and herbs. I thought it would have more flavor. I also added some wild rice and that helped it alot for me. It was amazing in the end! - 3/28/11

Easy and tasty. I added a couple of small red skin potatoes and they came out perfect. DH says it "needs something" so we'll play around next time. Also use less water; the sauce was a little bit runny for my taste. - 4/5/10

  • As written, I did not like this recipe. I am so used to these ingredients being used for roast beef of beef burgandy that I could not get used to the chicken taste with it. • I made this in the oven-kept the sauce pretty much the same (using less water, per other reivews), poured it over the chicken in a baking dish, covered w/ foil & baked for an hour at 375d. It tasted good, but did need a few extra spices for more flavor. The 'gravy' is great over mashed potatoes! - 3/27/10

  • My family loved this moist, delicious recipe! Very easy to throw together (like 3 minutes :D). To me, the water was a bit much since I usually like a thicker "gravy". I actually took some of the remaining gravy, added to cauliflower and creamed it. Delish!! - 1/20/10
