Looking at the recipe there is some sort of crust. Is this the wrong photo for the recipe? - 3/3/14

  • I don't like when SparkPeople does this.....uses a photo that obviously is NOT the recipe! Not happy about that. (One of my biggest pet peeves, but probably the only or one of FEW complaints I have with SP. ;) - 3/16/14

  • I was given this recipe a long time ago. I use shredded mozzarella and some parmesan instead of feta. It is good hot or cold, for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. I drain the spinach with a ricer tool and cook it in a square pan for 9 servings. - 5/31/10

  • I thought this was a wonderful breakfast but I'm a fan of spinach and feta cheese. Instead of cottage cheese we used ricotta. Also served it with a little salsa. - 1/7/10

  • I'm not keen on cottage cheese, so substituted fresh ricotta cheese from the Italian deli and it made all the difference to me. The dill is a nice touch too. I also used fresh spinach which I find much faster to cook & drain than the frozen kind. Excellent. - 3/15/08

  • It was good, and easy. I also used fresh onion and added spices on hand as I was out of dill. Also, added a bit of leftover goat cheese. - 5/14/07

  • Tasty and easy! I substituted 1/2 of fresh chopped onion for the dehydrated onion. It would also make a great appetizer baked in a 8 x 8 pan and cut into small cubes. - 3/26/07
