Low Carb Sloppy Joes

Introduction

A decent substitute for the real deal! A decent substitute for the real deal!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pound ground beef
    1 small onion
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 cup tomato sauce
    1/4 cup or less of Stevia in the Raw
    1/2 tsp blackstrap molasses
    2 tsp vinegar
    1 tsp mustard
    1 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper

Tips

A family pleaser!! If you want it thicker you can remove the lid and let reduce naturally or add 1/4 tsp xanthan gum. My son likes this a lot and he's a very picky eater!


Directions

Brown meat and onions together in skillet. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds to a minute. Add sauce, sweetener, molasses, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes and serve over favorite low carb buns, in wraps, or over salad.
