Ingredients
-
3 eggs, separated
pinch of cream of tartar
85g (3oz) cream cheese
dash of salt
Tips
Directions
Separate the eggs.
Add salt and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together.
In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you’re using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture).
Using a spatula, gradually fold the white mixture into the egg yolk mixture, being careful not to break down the whites.
Spread the mixture into well-greased (I used butter) full-sized pizza pan, slightly patting the mixture down with a spatula just to ensure even coverage of the pan.
Put the crust into a preheated Gas Mark 2 oven and bake it for 20 minutes.
After removing from the oven, let sit and cool for 5 minutes.
Top with your favourite pizza ingredients, top with grated cheese, and put back in the over until cheese is melted and brown.
Serving Size: Makes 4 pieces
Number of Servings: 4
