    1 apple
    .8 c apple juice
    1 c pancake mix
    2 table spoons whole wheat flour
    3 tablespoons brown sugar
    cooking spray
    1 tsp cinnamon


I like to warm up the liquid before adding it to the batter because it helps the pancakes rise and they are fluffier.
Turn the griddle heat down to half after you flip them,


-Add pancake mix and whole wheat four to a large bowl
-combine apple juice and water to a microwave safe container and nuke for 40 sec
-add apple juice and water to pancake mix and mix
-quarter medium apple remove seeds and core.
cut about half of apple into slices to place on pancake once it is poured on the griddle, dice the reminder of the apple and add it to batter
-Pre-heat griddle spray with cooking spray make sure it sizzles before you pour pancakes
-Pour pancakes
-Sprinkle brown sugar on top of each pancake
-Add apple slices to each pancake
-sprinkle cinnamon
-flip pancakes

Serving Size: one 6 inch pancake
