Ingredients

12 oz bag Iberia Split Peas
1 large onion chopped
4 slices cooked butterball turkey bacon
20 baby carrots or 1/2 bag
1 Tbs salt
1/2 Tbs black pepper
5 cups hot water
Tips
Goes great with hot corn muffins.
Directions
Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Sautee onions. Add rinsed/drained split peas, salt, pepper, and water. Cook on higt heat for 7 hours. Add baby carrots. Cook 1 more hour. Sautee bacon in pan, cool, crumble and add to soup. Stir and serve.
