KFC Chicken Spice Recipe

Introduction

My family lives a low carb lifestyle. I purposefully make this without the brown sugar. But feel free to add that back in if you like and adjust the nutritional counts accordingly. (3 Tablespoons packed brown sugar)We're also not fans of sage, but the original recipe called for 1 Tablespoon of ground sage. My family lives a low carb lifestyle. Ingredients

    1 T dried rosemary
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp dried marjoram
    1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
    1 tsp ground ginger
    1 tsp black pepper
    3 T dried parsley
    1 T paprika
    2 T garlic powder
    2 T onion powder
    4 cubes chicken bouillon
    1 package lipton onion soup mix

Directions

Put all the ingredients into a food processor and combing until chicken bouillon cubes are ground up thoroughly. Store in spice jar. Use 1 ounce of seasoning in 1 cup of flour and coat chicken for frying. Or use 1 tsp of seasoning sparingly directly on chicken filets and cook in coconut oil until chicken is cooked through.

Serving Size: Makes 3/4 cup or 36 teaspoons of seasoning
