Quick and convenient when you use pre-packaged cole slaw shred. Quick and convenient when you use pre-packaged cole slaw shred.
Number of Servings: 4


    I pkg. cole slaw mix (green cabbage & carrots), or other variety as preferred.
    1tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    1tbsp. crushed garlic/garlic paste
    1tsp-1tbsp dried thyme leaves
    1tbsp onion powder
    1tsp. red pepper flakes (Optional)
    1tsp. black pepper, cracked is best (Optional)


You can tone down the spice in this recipe by omitting the red pepper flakes and/or black pepper.


Saute garlic and pepper flakes in 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. Add cole slaw mix and thyme leaves. Season to taste with black pepper and onion powder. Cover and allow steam for 15 mins.

Serving Size: Makes 4 1-cup servings
