Introduction

My version of Sahlab. My version of Sahlab.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2-3 Tbs Cornstarch
    1/2 Cup Water
    2 Cups Vanilla Almond Milk
    1 teas Vanilla Extract
    3 Tbs Sugar
    1/2 teas Ground Cinnamon
    1/4 teas Ground Cloves
    1/4 teas Ground Nutmeg

Tips

You can eliminate a lot of the calories if you use artificial sweeteners.


Directions

Mix the cornstarch and water together until smooth. Place almond milk and vanilla in heavy saucepan. Mix sugar and spices together, then add to milk, stir until mixed. Turn on heat to medium. Add cornstarch while stirring with whisk to prevent lumps. Bring to a boil stirring constantly, cook 2 minutes. Pour into cups, sprinkle with additional cinnamon.
