Carole Sue's Veggie Beef Soup

Ingredients

    Ground Beef
    Tomatoes
    Onion
    Barley
    Potato
    Carrot
    Okra
    Green beans
    Corn
    Summer squash
    Tomato soup
    Water
    Salt

Tips

Other combinations do not give the same flavor. The barley removes acid from the tomatoes and makes it mild. The okra and squash carry the paramount tastes.


Directions

Brown meat and onion. Add tomatoes and 6 cups water. Cut potato in and carrot in tiny peices to cook quickly. Boil for 8 minutes. Add barley and other vegetables. Cook 22 minutes. Salt to taste.
