Introduction

The recipe we amended to render the fish cakes whole grain. The recipe we amended to render the fish cakes whole grain.

Ingredients

    This, what we used. You could choose to use much more fish. This, just what we had on hand:

    300 grams fresh or thawed cod (or haddock, halibut)
    1 small shallot
    1 clove of garlic
    1/2 cup of whole grain bread crumbs
    3 tablespoons of whole wheat flour
    1/4 cup parsley
    salt to taste (we added just one or two shakes)
    2 tablespoons canola oil (or grapeseed oil)
