Potatoes and Cheddar SoupSubmitted by: MAMALAURAJEAN
2 cups water
2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 Tbsp. butter, salted
1 small onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. flour
3 cups milk, skim
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup diced ham
salt and pepper to taste
2. Melt butter in separate pan and saute chopped onion until tender. Then add flour to thicken.
3. Transfer onion mixture to potoatoes and add rest of the ingredients.
4. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Note: You can add any veggies of choice to this recipe.
