Low sugar rice pudding

Introduction

Tasty sweet and creamy rice pudding when only an old fashioned dessert will satisfy. Tasty sweet and creamy rice pudding when only an old fashioned dessert will satisfy.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 tbsp cornstarch
    I cup 1% milk
    1 beaten egg
    3 tsp vanilla
    1tsp cinnamon
    1 Box or 1/4 cup raisons soaked in hot water and drained .
    1 cup of cooked brown rice
    3 packets or 3 tsps Splenda

Directions

Bring 3/4 of a cup of milk to a boil .Add cornstarch to remaining 1/4 cup of milk and cook until quite thick . to the well beaten egg add about a tbsp of hot milk mixture mixing well add a little more milk mixture to beaten egg and then mix egg mixture into the hot milk mixture. cook for 2 mins but DO NOT boil . Add vanilla rice and cinnamon . Refrigerate .Can be served both cold or warm .
