Coffee Cake

Introduction

I got this from my very old BH&G cookbook. I got this from my very old BH&G cookbook.
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    Cake:
    1/2 c canola oil
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c milk
    3 c sifted all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 c sugar
    2 t. baking powder
    1 t. salt

    Spicy Topping:
    1/2 c brown sugar
    2 T. all-purpose flour
    2 t. ground cinnamon
    2 T. melted butter

Tips

You can halve this recipe also and put it in a 9x9x2 -inch pan. Thats how it originally is shown. I doubled it because that was how I cooked it. Wanted it thicker, do not but this amount in a small pan as it will not cook properly.


Directions

Combine oil, eggs and milk. Sift together dry ingredients; add to milk mixture; mix well. Pour into greased pan. Sprinkle with spicy topping. Bake at 375 degrees about 25 mins or so.

Spicy Topping: combine all ingredients, mix together.
