Favorite Breakfast Scones

Introduction

Extra simple to make! Extra simple to make!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1.5 cups AP Flour
    .25 cups sugar
    1 T baking powder
    .5 t salt
    1.25 cups old fashioned rolled oats
    .5 cups raisins
    1 large egg
    1.25 stick butter
    1/3 cup FF milk

Tips

Make every Sunday morning until you can't stand it any more!


Directions

Whisk together dry ingredients. Stir in oats and raisins. Whisk together wet ingredients then add all at once. When dry ingredients are moistened, transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Pat dough into an 8" round about 3/4 inch thick. Cut into 8 wedges. Place onto baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Let cool on a baking rack and serve warm with fresh Pleasant Morning Buzz coffee!
