Apple Fritter

Ingredients

    4 T. (60g) all purpose flour
    pinch of salt
    2 egg yolks
    1 T. (15ml) melted butter, or oil
    1/2 c (125ml) milk
    1 egg white
    2 med. granny smith apples

Tips

At this time I dont have the directions for frying them but I fried them at about 350 for a couple minutes on each side until golden brown.


Directions

Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour and add the egg yolks, melted butter, and milk. Gradually blend the wet ingredients into the flour until it becomes smooth. Rest the batter in the fridge for 30 minutes. Just before using the batter, whisk the egg white until stiff and fold gently into the batter.

Serving Size: covers 2 apples sliced
