Introduction

Nutritious raw ingredients make this an awesome dip or spread. Add more garlic if you want more kick. Nutritious raw ingredients make this an awesome dip or spread. Add more garlic if you want more kick.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    4 garlic cloves
    1 Tablespoon salt
    15.5 oz can of garbanzo beans (chick peas)
    1/2 cup tahini paste (crushed sesame seeds)
    1/2 c lemon juice, fresh
    water

Tips

can add or subtract garlic amount per taste.
freezes well.
can garnish with a drizzle of olive oil (1 tsp) & paprika.


Directions

in blender or food processor put:
fresh garlic & salt. Pulse until chopped. Add drained & rinsed garbanzos. Pulse again. Add lemon juice & pulse until desired thickness. May add water if too thick.
Serve with pita or raw veggies
use as dip or spread on sandwiches.

Serving Size: makes a little over 3 cups
