Sheri's Quick & Easy Chili with Beef

Introduction

This is super fast and added good protein and fiber. Recipe can be cut in half very easily. This is super fast and added good protein and fiber. Recipe can be cut in half very easily.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 lbs. Ground Beef (85% Lean) or You Use What You Have
    2 Cans Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes (Do Not Drain)
    2 Cans Red Kidney Beans (Do Not Drain)
    1 Small or More of Chopped Sweet Onion
    2 Tbsp. Chili Powder (More or Less for Taste)
    1 Tbsp. Black Pepper


Tips

Note: If you want it thicker then add Tomato Paste before simmering.

Note: You can use Chicken or Pork, instead of Beef in this recipe.

Note: This can be done in a Crockpot too.


Directions

Brown Ground Beef and drain grease. Add onions and cook till softer. Add Stewed Tomatoes and Red Kidney Beans with liquid. Add Chili Powder and Pepper to taste. Simmer on low to medium for 30 minutes or more. The longer...the better the flavors merge.

Serving Size: Makes 10 2-Cup Servings
