Introduction

A lovely treat with loads of healthy fats and vitamins... A lovely treat with loads of healthy fats and vitamins...
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1/2 cup almond butter
    1 cup agave nectar
    1/4 cup ground flaxseed
    1/4 cup wheat germ
    3/4 cup of mix n mingle trail mix. (you can use whatever nuts you desire)
    1 1/2 cup oats

Tips

I use cookie cutters to make shapes...and take bites here and there! The recipe is one of my children's favorite treat with loads of vitamins..


Directions

Heat almond butter and agave nectar in a sauce pan on the stove. Mix all dry mixture in a separate bowl. When fully melted add wet mixture to your dry mixture. Ensure all is moist. Then pat in a 9x9 banking pan and cool in fridge.

When cooled cut into 16 equal part squares.

Serving Size: Makes 16 pieces

  • I am not a purest so I will do this trying a few changes I hope it will still work out. Soaking dates and blending then down for the replacement of the agave and as well adding raisins and chia and hemp seeds too. I love that the base idea is here. Thanks! - 12/11/12
