Submitted by: BRMALLORY1986Introduction
Makes me think of home, how I love my Cincinnati Chili Makes me think of home, how I love my Cincinnati ChiliNumber of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
Ground Beef 93% Lean, 2lbs
Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz)
Cincinnati Recipe(Skyline)Chili packet, 1 whole packet
Water 4-6 cups
Tips
For my weight watchers out there this is 5 points on points plus system/ cup. I like my chili with pasta, cheese, and onion (the Cincy way) so if you do that it will add to your value. Also to add more fiber some people in Cincy will add beans to their meal which is delicious and called a 5-way.
Directions
Mix tomato paste, chili packet, and water (depending how thin you like your chili 4-6cups water) in crockpot
Add ground beef (not cooked) and mix into liquid
Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4.......time is an estimate; cook until meat is no longer pink and house is filled with chili aroma.
