Teriyaki Black Bean Chicken & Rice

Introduction

Slow cooker black bean chicken with Teriyaki marinade, minced garlic & diced chilies served up with rice. Slow cooker black bean chicken with Teriyaki marinade, minced garlic & diced chilies served up with rice.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    Chicken Breast, no skin, 2 units
    Beans, black, 2 cup
    Ortega Diced Green Chiles, 7 oz
    Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce & Marinade, 1/2 cup
    Garlic, 2 tbsp
    White Rice, long grain, 2 cup

Directions

Spray pot with non-stick cooking spray.
Place chicken breasts in bottom of pot.
Add 1/2 the Teriyaki sauce.
Add 1/2 the diced chilies and 1/2 the minced garlic.
Drain and add the black beans.
Add the second 1/2 of both diced chilies and minced garlic.
Add rest of Teriyaki sauce.
Cover and set on Low.
Prior to serving, break up chicken into small chunks.
Boil water and cook rice.
