looking for ways to use grains, I experimented and came up with this pilaf. looking for ways to use grains, I experimented and came up with this pilaf.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    barley, brown rice, quinoa, lentils, chicken broth

Tips

add chopped veggies for a nutritional boost, lemon juice for a twist, chopped spinach or cilantro for some color.


Directions

combine all ingredients in a rice steamer, like the one from pampered chef, cover with lid and cook in microwave for 40 minutes, or until water is absorbs by the grains.
