Tomato Sauce

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 tbsp Extra Light Olive Oil
    2 tbsp Basil
    1 onion chopped
    2 cloves Garlic chopped
    1 tsp Pepper, black
    1 cup Chicken Broth or Bouillon
    1 can tomato paste
    1 1/2 cups canned diced tomatoes

    3 cups cooked whole wheat pasta

Directions

Cook the onions until soft (about 10 minutes). Add all the other ingredients (NOT the pasta) and cook on medium for 30 minutes. Pour this sauce over the cooked pasta, eat and enjoy!
