Simple and Quick Salsa Chili by Claire

8 oz of ground beef
2 cans of kidney beans
5 cups of chunky salsa
1.5 to 2 cups of water
chili powder (to taste)
Ms Dash Southwest Chipolte seasoning (to taste)
Tips
Recipe can be made in crock pot. Brown beef add to crock. Add remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 4 hours.
I serve the chili as a topping on a baked potato or to top a salad. I also serve it on 1/2 cup brown rice with a side salad.
Alternate ingredients are substitute the red kidney beans for black beans and a can of corn or frozen corn nibblits (adjust nutrition information).
Directions
add 2 cans of kidney beans
add 5 cups of chunky salsa
add up to 2 cups water until desired thickness (water will be absorbed some)
add chili powder and Ms Dash Southwest Chipolte seasoning to taste
Bring to a boil and then simmer on low heat.
Serving Size: makes 4 servings 1.5-cup servings
