Ingredients

    *Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average, 2 large whole (3" dia)
    *Beef Broth - Swanson 50% Less Sodium, 3 cup
    *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, .5 cup, chopped
    *Yellow Peppers (bell peppers), .5 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia)
    *Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, chopped
    *Barley, pearled, raw, .5 cup
    *White Rice, medium grain, .5 cup
    *Garlic, 3 clove
    *Beef (Cubed) Steak, 16 oz
    *Salt, 1 tbsp
    *Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
    *Chili pepper, red, dried, 6 grams = 2 tsp., .25 tsp
    *Worchestershire Sauce, 2 tbsp
    *Soy Sauce, 3 tbsp
    *Onions, raw, 2 large
    *Yellow Sweet Corn, Canned, 1 can (12 oz) yields
    *Frozen Green Beans, 4 serving

Directions

Brown meat and onions, add everything else with 4 cups of water, bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for at least one hour.

Serving Size: Makes about 6, 1-cup servings
