Introduction

Told to me by a co-worker. Had some fresh asparagus around (it being that time of year) and decided to try it. Really good. Don't be too concerned about exact measurements. I actually just sprinkled some garlic powder and Parmesan on the asparagus, didn't really measure them. I ate the whole thing, but shouldn't have. Turns out to be fairly high calorie (sigh). Ingredients

    Asparagus, fresh, 3 cup
    *Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, 1 tbsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp

Directions

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Steam asparagus for 2 minutes, drain and shock (run cold water over it). Put olive oil in bottom of baking pan. Toss asparagus in oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder and grated Parmesan cheese. Tuck into the oven for about 10 minutes.
