Whirley Pop Kettle Corn

Introduction

A delicious homemade version of a fair favorite! A delicious homemade version of a fair favorite!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    .5 cup unpopped corn kernels
    2 Tbs sugar
    .5 tsp salt
    2 Tbs oil (corn, canola or olive)

Directions

Serving Size: Makes about 6 quarts

Add all ingredients to Whirley Pop or similar stove-top popper and cook until all kernels are popped. Remove from heat immediately and vent steam to avoid chewy popcorn. Pour out onto cookie sheet and break apart with a spoon or spatula. Put some soapy water in your popper right away to avoid a tough clean-up later.
