This has been a favorite of mine since I was a little kid! My family calls it a "kids' meal", but we all love it! This has been a favorite of mine since I was a little kid! My family calls it a "kids' meal", but we all love it!Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef, extra lean
1 sl. wheat bread
2 Tbsp. milk, nonfat
1 egg
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ground sage
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
Dash pepper
8 oz. tomato sauce
Directions
Break bread into small pieces in a bowl. Pour milk over the bread just until damp and stir it around a bit. Add the rest of the ingredients, except for the tomato sauce.
Form the mixture into 12 meatballs. Spray a non-stick pan with cooking spray and cook the meatballs until browned. Remove from pan and drain grease. Return meatballs back to pan and cover with tomato sauce. Cover the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.
This goes great with another favorite "kids' food", macaroni and cheese! :-)
