Turkey Stroganoff

Introduction

I did a makeover on an old recipe I had that my family loves and it really turned out really good. I did a makeover on an old recipe I had that my family loves and it really turned out really good.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground turkey
    1 lg. onion, sliced lengthwise
    1 8 oz. pkg. mushrooms, sliced
    1 can low fat cream of mushroom soup
    1 8 oz. container light sour cream
    2 T. ketchup
    1 t. worcestershire sauce
    1 pkg whole wheat egg noodles
    cooking spray

Tips

I like to serv this with green beans or sliced beets and fresh fruit for dessert.


Directions

Prepare noodles according to package directions. Slice mushrooms and onions. Lightly spray large skillet with cooking spray. On medium heat cook onions until tender then add ground turkey and cook on med high heat until meat is cooked well done. Add mushrooms and cook on med heat for about 3 minutes, then add remaining ingredients-cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, ketchup and worcestershire sauce and blend thoroughly. Heat sauce until it is hot and bubbly then serve over cooked noodles.
