Introduction

A divine breakfast dish that is quick to fix. Even people who are not fond of grapefruit will enjoy this dish. The brulee type topping neutralizes the tartness of the fruit. Ingredients

    1 large grapefruit
1/4 cup firmly packed Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
    1 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat the broiler and make sure the rack is about 4 - 6 inches away from the heat.

Cut the grapefruit in half and remove a small amount from the bottom to keep the grapefruit from tipping.

Separate the grapefruit from the peel using a sharp knife and then separate the segments from their shells, but keep the fruit in the rind. Place the grapefruit in a baking dish.

Mix the dry ingredients with the butter until moist, and then press the mixture onto the grapefruit halves with your fingers.

Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes until the topping begins to get bubbly all over.

For best results, serve immediately.
