4 oz. Halibut steak
1/4 medium onion, sliced
1/4 tsp garlic, minced
3/4 c canned, diced tomatoes
1/2 t capers
1/2 t basil
1/4 t oregano
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
In small non-stick skillet on med high heat, add onions and garlic, saute until onion is softened. Add tomatoes and spices. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Place Halibut steak in small casserole dish, pour tomato mixture over. Bake until halibut is just opaque in center, about 10 minutes.
