Fajita Chili Casserole

Ingredients

1 lb beef fajita steak or round steak sliced
1 pkg Rice A Roni Mexican style rice
1 can Hormel or Wolf brand chili, no beans
1 Cup low fat cheddar or colby cheese
Sliced jalapeno peppers if desired
Tips
Can use ground beef instead of fajita steak in this recipe. Can also substitute chili with beans or just chili beans if desired. Adjust calories and nutrition if making changes.
Directions
Prepare Rice A Roni per package directions.
When this is almost done, brown fajita steak.
Place prepared Rice a Roni in 8" square pan.
Top with browned fajita steak.
Top with chili.
Place in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Top with cheddar or colby cheese and sliced jalapeno peppers if desired, and bake for 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
