Ingredients

    *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 20 oz
    *365 Organic Apple Sauce Unsweetened, 226 gram(s)
    *dried garlic, 1 tbsp
    *Onion powder, 1 tbsp
    *chipotle chile pepper powder, .5 tsp
    Paprika, 1 tsp
    Sage, ground, .5 tsp

Tips

planned to use fresh onion and celery but forgot. Thought it might give it a nice bit of flavor. Will try that next time when we make them as breakfast sausages. Perhaps with a bit of parsnip as well.


Directions

Stir ingredients together, pat into burger patty shape, and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, then flip and cook 5 to 10 more minutes until fully cooked through.

Serving Size: makes 4 sizeable patties or 8 smaller ones
