Introduction

Traditional Bento Foods:

1. Miso soup has many health benefits, Vitamin K and omega 3. Miso soup has also been shown to cut the risk of contracting breast cancer.

2. Sushi made with traditional sushi rice is also a very healthy food. It has a much lower glycemic index than normal white rice. Sushi often includes salmon which has Omega 3.

3. Grilled chicken and lean proteins. Have the teriyaki sauce on the side.

4. Small salads made of different kinds of shredded lettuce, cabbage and seaweed which is an excellent source of iodine.

5. Fruit.
