Chili Lime Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
Juice of half of lime
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp salt
*pepperjack cheese: optional (not included in nutritional information)
Tips
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients well. Form into 4 patties.
2. Coat each side generously with cooking spray.
3. Heat grill pan or skillet on medium-high heat. Cook 4-5 minutes each side, or until cooked through.
4. If desired, top with slice of pepperjack cheese and cover with lid until melty.
5. Allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.
