Great one skillet meal, with or without pasta Great one skillet meal, with or without pasta
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Cornstarch, 1 T
    Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, .75 cup
    Beef, top sirloin, diced 1 lb
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Asparagus, fresh, 1 lb
    Garlic, 4 cloves
    Scallions, raw, 4 medium (4-1/8" long)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 large whole (3" dia), diced
    Basil, 1t
    Oregano, ground, .5 tsp
    Black Olives, canned (small-extra large), 2 tbsp
    Mushrooms, canned, 1 cup

Tips

Add over 1 cup of pasta, your choice, or eat it by itself


Directions

Brown beef
Add Asparagus, onions, garlic for 2 minutes then
Add tomato, basil, and oregano for 2 minutes then add broth, olives, seasonings to taste.
Thicken with cornstarch and beef broth mixture
cook 2 more minutes.
